Q: How can we become a more social business?

Qube’s brand sociability audit provided valuable insight into Virgin Atlantic’s sociability as a company and is informing our ongoing social media strategy.

The challenge
Virgin Atlantic has been active and successful in social media from a grass roots level for nearly two years. However, their success has put demands on resources and subsequently raised the need for a more rigorous, measurable strategic approach. They asked Qube to conduct a sociability audit and make strategic recommendations for the future.

What we did
Qube evaluated where Virgin Atlantic was on a sociability scale and provided a roadmap for how to successfully move forward. We conducted a full internal audit through extensive depth interviews with senior management and an employee survey. This was followed by an external audit with an industry social media activity review and metrics audit.

The results
We made a full presentation of our findings and roadmap to the senior management. Our thorough consultation helped the company to shape their next investment decisions in the social space.

Crucially, our work has helped Virgin Atlantic to strategically plan for the future to ensure their social spend generates the best possible ROI.
